Music Page

Welcome to my music page, the space for details of all my lyric writing activities, and news of all my collaborations.

I enjoy writing lyrics in a variety of styles, really thinking about the words use, and creating feelings and imagery people can relate too. It's a great buzz when a song comes together, and also when you work with other people and hear the work grow into a fully fledged song.

I have written with several different musicians, songwriters, and friends. It's enjoyable to share an interest with friends, but also to explore the ideas other people have too.

Projects I have been involved in have attracted interest from music fans, the music industry, and local radio who have given airplay support. They have won or placed in some radio votes, including the Fame Games which is aired online and in America.

I hope you enjoy the music, please visit www.myspace.com/laurenslyrics for more.

Music News:

Lauren has received some exciting news. Reveal an arm of TSG Media has chosen both Lauren's completed songs for possible play. They provide back/fore ground music for up to 7,500 locations in the U.K, so you could hear the songs while you shop, drink, eat, or even work out!

That's How It Goes has also reached the semi finals of the U.K Songwriting Contest this year. With a score of 7 it was borderline making the finals.

Lauren and Tyler's song has reached the semi finals of The Fame Games twice. This means it has been aired to a vast audience via online streaming, and radio stations in America and Spain. To add your vote go to www.meermusic.com/tylerandlauren.

Lauren's songs are now also online at showcaseyourmusic.com/laurenslyrics, and www.unsignedchart.com/profile/laurenjohn and overplay.com/laurenslyrics. All votes and comments are much appreciated.
